A Season of Abundance: Three Episodes a Month

This season, we're thrilled to announce that Ruck Up Buttercup Podcast will be sharing three episodes each month, offering a mix of resources, guest speakers, and our beloved girl chats. Our aim is to deepen our community connections and highlight more personal stories, particularly those who might feel uncomfortable appearing on the podcast. Make sure to follow us on TikTok and share your stories for a chance to be spotlighted!

Reflecting on MilSpouse Journeys

Reflecting on our journey, it's hard to believe how fast these five years have flown by. We've both personally and professionally grown through this podcast—it wasn’t just another project, but a beautiful challenge that equipped us with skills we never imagined having. Our journey is reflective of what we aim for this podcast: a supportive community where we share experiences, learn from each other, and navigate the ups and downs of military life together.

The Challenges and Triumphs of Change

This year has been one of introspection and growth. From dealing with unaccompanied tours to making time for self-care—a concept that seems so simple yet is incredibly challenging for military spouses. Ashley shares her personal journey of self-empowerment, taking solo trips and growing into a more centered leader. Sabrina reflects on the importance of setting boundaries, learning to balance giving to others while maintaining personal peace.

The Power of Community and Connection

We continue to cherish the connections we've fostered through Deployed Love and the homeschooling community. The friendships developed within these circles offer invaluable support. It's a testament to the strength and resilience of military spouses that we continue to grow despite frequent changes and challenges. Whether it's finding the right friend group or creating meaningful connections within existing ones, community is at the heart of what we do.

Envisioning a Bright Future

Looking ahead to 2026, our goals are ambitious yet grounded. We are adamant about embracing every opportunity to travel and experience Europe, emphasizing enriching our children’s lives with diverse experiences. Personal wellness, career growth, and educational ventures are also high on our list. Above all, we strive to transition from "survival mode" to thriving in our daily lives.
